Training is delivered is a variety of formats, such as face-to-face, blended or on-line in order to meet the needs of staff and students within the University. Our programme of “IT” related courses is available to all members of staff and postgraduate students through our free “Open Programme”, with undergraduate training needs being met through our on-line training courses which are available via WebCT Vista: www.weblearn.bham.ac.uk.

The Training and Skills Development Team also provides specialist or tailored courses which complement our Open Programme as well as consultancy services.

The remit of the Training and Skills Development team is to work in partnership with staff across the university in providing outstanding academic and ICT skills development and training.
